In 1978, Drs. Flavius and Joan Pernoud, a husband and wife team founded Pernoud Eye Institute with a commitment to provide leading-edge comprehensive eye care to their patients. Dr. Flavius and Dr. Joan are honored to have served the St. Louis area with ophthalmology services for over 30 years. Dr. Ishaq Chishti has added many years of retinal specialty to the practice. And, Dr. Cathy Phillips has added her expertise in general optometry and specialty contact lenses. Our Diagnostic Center offers the latest advanced technical equipment to provide the doctors with the ability to immediately and accurately diagnose complicated problems without having to send patients to offsite facilities.
