Description
SWICO Auctions accepts consignments of items to be sold at auction thru our web page, www.swicoauctions.com, from any source of legitimate merchandise sold absolute to the highest bidder with no reserves, buy backs or minimums. We charge a flat fee of _10_% of the selling price and make payment to seller on the first of each month for any and all items sold during the proceeding month. SWICO Auctions collects all Texas sales tax due and remits same to the State. To be a seller with SWICO Auctions you first must be a registered bidder. After you have received a bidder number then from your User Profile page click on the become seller link and agree to the Seller Terms & Conditions, which then sets you up to submit items for auction thru our online auction section. In the menu box on your User Profile there is now a link to submit items which brings up a simple form to fill out and attach up to four pictures showing all angles to provide bidders a complete view of the item. BE SURE to set your camera to produce the smallest file size possible in the jpg format. We need a full and trust worthy description of at least the make, year, model and anything else that will provide truthful information to bidders. In the 'Viewing Instructions" box default information from your file will be added, make any changes you desire. Also within this box the location of each item will be listed. Seller is required to allow bidders an appointment time to view the item to determine if it will fit bidders needs. The Pickup Instructions box information is attached to the invoice for buyer instructions to pick items after purchase and contains default information from your file, which you can change as needed. Item information can be edited thru your user page anytime prior to a bid being placed on the item. Any changes after that need to be emailed to jim@swicoauctions.com. We recommend that you review your listed items after posting to be sure you have them correct in the actual page view screen. Any titled vehicle will not be listed until a photo of the title, front & back, is emailed to SWICO Auctions at jim@swicoauctions.com as proof of title. For Farm trailers without titles we need photo of last license plate receipt which will show if there is a title issued and or VIN on the unit, in which case we will need photo of title as above. All equine animals must also have a copy of current coggins test emailed to us before animal will be listed for auction. All cattle must have health certificates issued by a vet prior to listing and copy of each submitted to SWICO before listing. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says that any item that has been recalled for any reason CAN NOT be sold! There are very high penalties for this law infraction, so no items will be listed without at least the manufacture name and if possible a model number. Sellers are required, and by submission of sale items, to confirm their item is not on any recall list. Follow the link, on your user page to verify your submission. If no manufacture name found on your item, please note such in the description.
