SAI utilizes the company’s 20-plus years of experience in all aspects of State and Federal remediation programs to help clients determine a cost-effective and environmentally sound approach to remediation. SAI’s Senior Managers collectively have decades of experience arranging state remedial programs and, in some cases, pioneering the creation of regulatory processes related to cleanups (see also About ).

The SAI approach is based on experience of key personnel who were responsible for developing New Jersey's innovative solid waste management program. This approach includes comprehensive planning, thorough technology evaluation, developing aggressive regulatory approaches, and designing state-of-the-art facilities. The SAI approach also uses the practical experience of managing a comprehensive program to meet the needs of solid waste program development around the world and problem-solving for the client's specific project needs.

SAI has worked with the redevelopment industry for many years to provide a service to characterize, monitor and document the placement of in-fill material at redevelopment sites. At the Jersey Gardens Mall in Elizabeth, over 2.5 million cubic yards of recyclable material, including dredge material and C&D screenings, were brought to the site, providing revenue for the project developers and saving millions of dollars by eliminating the need to purchase fill.
