Description
Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation charted with the State of Tennessee on September 1, 2005 to serve the 4th Judicial District, consisting of Cocke, Grainger, Jefferson & Sevier Counties. Safe Harbor was established by a group of impassioned individuals to provide the coordination of necessary services in a child-focused and child-friendly home-like setting for our most vulnerable victimized citizens . . . our children.
Safe Harbor CAC provides community outreach and prevention education (COPE), as well as in-depth training for area professionals about child abuse. We provide and/or conduct personal safety and awareness programs throughout the four county region. Community awareness programs are also available for presentation to churches, civic groups, and businesses in our district. If you live or work in Cocke, Grainger, Jefferson or Sevier counties, contact our COPE Coordinator, Tiffany Wingrove, to learn more.
Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center, Inc. invites you to share the joy of award winning artist Jim Gray's work while supporting our mission of combating child abuse at the same time.
Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center, Inc. invites you to share the joy of award winning artist Jim Gray's work while supporting our mission of combating child abuse at the same time. As Jim Gray's son Chris shares, "Building this door into Jim Gray Gallery for Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center was a real challenge for me. I met with my friend Donna Koester, the Executive Director, and knew that we wanted to help." Chris goes on to say, "You see, child abuse is not a warm and fuzzy cause that you can easily trumpet.
