Safe N Sound Swimming is dedicated to the development of each swimmer through a positive environment, a focus on building self-esteem, and an emphasis on water safety and respect for the water. Family involvement is encouraged as it nurtures each swimmer's development.The school was founded in 1986 by Kerrie Gordon, a state champion swimmer. She combined her love of swimming with a University study of child psychology to create a unique and exceptional swimming program.The school is an active member of the United States Swim School Association, a non-profit organization focused on improving the quality of swim instruction nation-wide. Our water educators have trained thousands of confident, water-aware swimmers during the last 20 years through hundreds-of-thousands, one-on-one lessons. We have found that one on one is the best way to learn how to swim safely!
