Safegate Group is an international company with headquarters in Malmö, Sweden and representatives in more than 70 countries around the world. The main objective for Safegate Group is to provide the airport industry with efficient solutions for more and safer aircraft movements. The solutions include operations, control and handling of aircraft on the ground, airborne aircraft close to the airport and ground vehicles at the airport. As a result of dedicated research and development throughout the years Safegate Group is today considered a specialist in its field of business.
In late 2008 Safegate Group acquired Idman Airfiled Lightning (Idman AFL). When Idman joined us at Safegate Group we took one more step to increase safety and efficiency at airports around the world. With a complete range of AFL products and services we are now even better prepared to provide value to our customers. With the addition of Thorn AFL and Idman AFL, Safegate Group is a truly global company with sales forces in Sweden, Finland, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Russia, UAE, Qatar, Australia, Singapore, China and the US.
The Safegate Group support takes care of all incoming requests regarding technical support from customers worldwide. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our goal is to provide whatever support and information our customers may need in a quick and efficient manner.
Another strategic cornerstone for Safegate Group is to be close to our customers. Recently we have opened an office in Brazil to further demonstrate that commitment. We have also inaugurated new and larger offices in Dubai, Germany and Paris as a result of local growth. We have employees from 31 different nationalities compared with 23 nationalities a year ago. The result is that we will be better staffed in helping and supporting our customers wherever you may be located.
2011 was another successful year for Safegate Group. Sales in a number of countries reached record levels and in total we delivered products to 89 different countries around the globe. We currently have 15 offices around the world and our staff consists of 23 different nationalities working together to support our customers.
