Description

The fact that Safety Partners was considered worthy of nomination tells me a few things. First, we have a healthy business, providing excellent and on-target services. Second, we’re spinning in the right networking circles (our friends are likely the ones who nominated us) and growing solid relationships.

In order for a safety committee to be as effective as possible, it is best to have representation from all groups, as well as members that have the authority to make company decisions. Membership should extend beyond the Biosafety Officer, Chemical Hygiene Officer, Radiation Safety Officer, and Emergency Coordinators, which promotes the opportunity for all employees to feel they are afforded a chance to provide input. Meetings can be held at any frequency, which is usually influenced by company size and depth of the EHS program.

As Director of Environmental Health and Safety Services, Jennifer is a senior leader and critical resource for all Safety Partners’ client-facing staff; she manages and supports the Consulting Safety Officers to ensure superior client service and satisfaction. Leveraging 18 years of experience in health and safety and lab operations, Jennifer also develops, manages, and implements client programs specializing in radiation, chemical, and biological safety.

Regulatory agencies such as the DEP, EPA, FAA, MWRA, DOT, and local Fire Departments are a few of the authorities that conduct inspections without advanced notice.
