When a customer in the surveillance industry needed an aluminum housing custom machined to their specifications, they trusted Saliga Machine's over 45 years of experience in the metal fabrication industry. The 6061-T6 aluminum housing is machined on a Mazak CNC lathe, and meets tolerances of +0.030 mm/-0.000 mm. When finished, the part measures 45 mm in diameter and 65.68 mm long. After machining, the part is sand blasted and anodized flat black in accordance with Mil-spec MIL-A-B625 Type II, Class 2. The entire project was manufactured with a turnaround of 4-5 weeks.

Saliga Machine offers precision aluminum machining services utilizing our advanced CNC milling centers and lathe equipment. This housing is machined from 6061 T6 tempered aluminum, and was produced for use on communication equipment for a military application. The housing has an outer diameter of 1.165" and measures 2.250" long. The housing was produced using our CNC equipped turning and milling centers. Our precision equipment allowed us to hold tolerances as tight as ±.001" for this project. After machining, the housing was deburred and finished with black anodizing per SP-461-2.

At Saliga Machine , we specialize in precision CNC machining of complex components for a wide range of industries. The project highlighted here was designed for use as the front housing for a video system used in a medical application. Composed of 6061-T6 aluminum, its manufacture utilized our multi-axis CNC machining and finishing capabilities. Measuring 2.587" in length, 1.070" in width, and 1.400" in height, it was machined on our Mazak Integrex 9 axis mill/turn machining center. This included turning, milling, drill, and tapping, all to tolerances of +0.001"/-0.000".
