Founded in 1938 by Samuel Cornelius Rust I (Cap'n Sam), it is one of the oldest family owned and operated seafood distributors on the east coast.

Sam Rust Seafood is a processor and distributor of exceptional live, fresh and frozen seafood. We provide the freshest quality seafood to all types of establishments, including white tablecloth restaurants to buffets, supermarket chains, hotels, caterers, and natural food markets.

From refrigerated processing, packing, and storage areas to our fleet of refrigerated delivery vehicles our customers product is never exposed to adverse conditions that could compromise products integrity.

The majority of our knowledgeable and experienced sales staff and fresh and frozen buyers have been with Sam Rust Seafood for more than 15 years each. The company has primarily promoted from within, to assure qualified, knowledgeable assistance to our customers.
