Beginning Drawing 4-hours, 6-hours or ongoing (3-hour meetings) Explore basic drawing techniques in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere by engaging in traditional and experimental exercises. Subject matter includes the still life, figure, found imagery, drawing from our surroundings and imagination. Several materials are introduced. No experience is necessary. The $15 materials fee paid to the instructor covers some supplies, use of tools, handouts and/or models. The book is a container that holds the imagination and has the magical ability to create different realities. Join us in exploring different styles of bookmaking in a relaxed atmosphere. We will be working with the accordion, hard cover, folded paper and threaded book. Other techniques, supplies and resources will be discussed. Bring meaningful items that you may want to be included. No experience is necessary. The materials fee paid to the instructor covers supplies, handouts and use of tools.
