About John Fox John Fox manages and contributes to Savant Protection’s technical research and product development. John has over 20 years of experience in the design, development, and support of enterprise software. He has led numerous teams in the successful development of enterprise security products. Most recently, John served as Vice President of Engineering at Athigo, a company he co-founded to provide security and compliance solutions for mobile devices. Prior to that John was Director of Engineering at eIQnetworks, an enterprise security solutions company. He was an early member of Pedestal Software, working with the founders to enhance their products for large enterprise customers. As part of the acquisition of Pedestal Software, John served as both Senior Manager for Altiris and as a Product Architect for Symantec compliance solutions. Previous positions include managing development teams at Watchguard Technologies and a research position at Lucent Technologies Bell Laboratories. John is the inventor for one U.S. patent. He has a B.S. in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
