Savvy Homes was founded by two entrepreneurially-spirited men who share a common goal -- to create a uniquely positioned, North Carolina-based home building company. Partners, George Aiken and Darrel Daigre, come from distinctly different backgrounds: George has over 30 years of experience in professional engineering and construction, while Darrell is a veteran consumer goods marketing professional. Together, they share a vision of what buyers expect from new home builders and strive to meet -- and exceed -- those expectations.

At SAVVY Homes, we understand the significant role energy efficiency plays in preserving our natural resources -- and in preserving your personal resources, as well. We provide our homeowners with energy-efficient design features that, when combined, create a comfortable (and cost-efficient!) living environment.

With the founding of NASA’s George C. Marshall Space Flight Center in 1960, Huntsville instantly became associated with high-tech development. Business and industry flocked to Madison County, and the Cummings Research Park was established, which is now the second-largest research park in the United States .

Beaufort was founded in 1709 as a small shipping port. But its coastal convenience attracted more than commerce -- Beaufort, and its Core Sound, is also said to have been a frequent stop for visiting pirates, including the infamous Blackbeard - who happened to own a home in the town. Divers and researchers recently recovered a legacy of this era: the remains of Blackbeard's ship, the Queen Anne's Revenge, which had been resting in the Beaufort Inlet since 1718.
