Sayers & Associates, Incorporated was founded in 1977 by Clinton P. Sayers, MAI, SRA and serves as its President. The company is a diversely qualified, full service real estate appraisal, consulting and brokerage firm with broad level experience throughout Texas. In the appraisal and consulting field, the firm primarily serves the valuation needs of public and private corporations, commercial real estate firms, banks and mortgage lenders, attorneys, accountants and governmental agencies. Our valuations are most often used to assist with federal income and estate tax returns, property tax appeals, corporate asset accounting, mortgage loan underwriting, property acquisitions and dispositions, litigation support, etc. Mr. Sayers is a qualified expert witness and testifies often in State and Federal Courts. Throughout its history, the firm has provided numerous appraisals in the area of eminent domain for both governments and property owners. In addition to a deep background in the valuation of typical residential, retail, multi-family, office, and general commercial properties, the firm is experienced and competent in the appraisal of many types of special use properties. Examples include neighborhood and regional shopping malls, mixed-use developments, hotels and resorts, golf courses, factories, industrial properties, churches, educational facilities and high-rise buildings. The firm’s consultation services include highest and best use studies, subdivision market analysis, site locations, lease evaluations, purchase negotiations, property tax analysis, appraisal review, etc. In property brokerage, the firm has represented both buyers and sellers of vacant land, retail shopping centers, apartment communities, banks, and portfolio properties. Sayers & Associates is staffed with professionally designated and General Certified Appraisers, and is affiliated with qualified independent contractors. This level of support allows the firm to undertake assignments of substantial size and provide timely completion. The firm maintains an extensive research library and data base and is a member of several services providing up-to-date market information.
