Smith & Loveless has a long and strong history in Georgia that dates back to 1969. More than 30 years ago, Julian Shaw started selling Smith & Loveless pump stations as a Manufacturers Representative in Georgia. In fact, he became so successful that today, Georgia has one of the highest number of Smith & Loveless Wet Well Mounted Pump Station installations worldwide. Julian Shaw of Shaw Southern Sales always offered you a smile and a firm handshake. And that extended into his customer service. He was always there, Georgia's resident expert on the Smith & Loveless pump station product line. He could walk in to an engineer's office and size up the pump station design requirements and pumping calculations off the top of his head and answer both the engineer's and the operator's questions. He knew pump stations. In June 1999, Julian decided to start the next chapter of his life. He retired and moved to Galveston, Texas so that he could be closer to his family. Smith & Loveless did not want to lose his expertise. We were fortunate enough to sign Julian with a five-year Outside Senior Consultant agreement, and he tutored his S&L Georgia replacement for a year and a half before retiring. In 2000, Smith & Loveless Incorporated officially incorporated in Georgia and set up Smith & Loveless Georgia Incorporated We are striving to step into Julian's legacy of providing his southern-style customer service. We offer all of the same new pump station consultation through the Smith & Loveless Georgia office. Additionally, we stock parts out of this office and can provide you with quick parts delivery in cases of emergency. Smith & Loveless is committed to Georgia.
