The Brillare (bree-lar-ay, meaning "to shine" in Italian) brand came to life May 1st 2010, the academy behind the Brillare vision—its prestigious salon affiliations, loyal instructors with years of expertise and hard-earned reputation as the Valley's best—was sixteen years in the making. Over the past sixteen years, RAS Management Incorporated has benefited from incorporating three different hairdressing academies. RAS Management Incorporated knew a final brand revival would put its academy in a unique position to broaden its relationships with different brands. Thus, on May 1, 2010, RAS Management Incorporated d.b.a. TONI&GUY Academy became Brillare Hairdressing Academy. In 1995, RAS Management purchased the Carlos Valenzuela Academy, a hairstyling school founded in 1987. A few years later, RAS Management joined forces with a talented hairdresser, Scott Cole, to rebrand the academy and expand its curriculum to incorporate the COLORCUTTING
