Scott Robins is the Founder of Scott Robins Companies, Incorporated and SRC Properties LLC, (“SRC”). Since 1988, Mr. Robins has grown his companies into a mid-size, vertically-integrated Real Estate Development firm, specializing in Development, Construction, Leasing and Property Management of commercial property. Most of the property Mr. Robins owns and manages is located in the famous Art Deco District of Miami Beach (“South Beach”) and Downtown Miami. This property consists of office, retail and residential space in prime locations, representing some of the most noteworthy real estate in the area. Landmark construction, restoration, and new development projects include upscale hotels, beautiful condominiums, architecturally significant parking garages, distinct mixed-use properties, and cutting-edge class-A office complexes including: The Loews St. Moritz Hotel, The Astor Hotel, The Townhouse Hotel, The Betsy Ross Hotel, The Marlin Hotel, The City of Miami Beach 7th Street/Collins Garage, The Netherlands, The Van Dyke Building, The New World Symphony, Española Way, The Moore Building, The Old Post Office, The Bath Club, 555 Washington, and The Lincoln. Mr. Robins is widely regarded in the media. His professional accomplishments have been awarded with Certificates of Appreciation Public Service Awards by the City of Miami Beach; Historical Revitalization Award by the Miami Design Preservation League; Award for Excellence in Architecture for a Contractor by the American Institute of Architecture; and Award for Public Service from The Women of Tomorrow. Additionally, numerous directorship positions highlight Mr. Robins’ charitable and civic commitments, including board member of The Downtown Development Authority of Miami; founder and major contributor to The South Florida Youth Foundation whose objective is to provide desperately needed goods and services to underprivileged children in the City of Miami. Mr. Robins is a native of South Florida and a 1985 honors graduate from the University of Florida School of Building Construction, one of the most prestigious construction schools in the country. Marcela oversees our office administration and manages our portfolio of Vacation Homes in the upper Florida Keys. Prior to joining SRC in 2005, Marcela was an academic scholarship-recipient, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. with a specialization in Real Estate. Marcela is a native of Costa Rica. Melissa is the Broker for SRC, responsible for marketing, leasing and acquisition of our entire portfolio of properties. Melissa began her career as a Litigation Attorney, specializing in Aviation & Employment Law. She presently sits on the Board of Directors for the Miami Beach Bar Association and volunteers her time as a Pro Bono Attorney throughout the year. A Miami native and graduate of Florida State University, Robert has over seventeen years of premier commercial real estate experience having managed millions of square feet of diverse investment properties throughout South Florida. He holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Real Property Administrator (RPA) designations.
