Sea Engineering, Inc. has been providing coastal engineering services throughout the pacific for over 40 years. SEI’s projects include marina and harbor design; coastal planning; beach nourishment design, dredging planning and analysis; design and evaluation of coastal structures for erosion control, shore protection and navigation; storm inundation analyses; beach erosion and coastal processes studies.

Sea Engineering, Inc. has been providing offshore and inland diving services since 1986 and is one of the most recognized and sought after diving companies in the Pacific. Our dive team supervisors have over 30 years of commercial diving experience and dive teams include ADC commercial divers and P.E. engineer-divers.

Sea Engineering, Inc. was founded in 1973 by University of Hawaii graduate students to provide marine-related engineering, construction and diving services. Today, we have three office locations in Hawaii and California and over 90 employees. Our core services include coastal engineering, geophysical surveys, oceanographic and environmental studies, as well as marine waterfront construction and industrial diving.

Sea Engineering has over 40 years of combined experience in state-of-the-science instrumentation, analysis, and modeling techniques and a full suite of in-house instrumentation to conduct all aspects of field and modeling studies for the analysis of contaminated sediment sites to assess environmental impacts on human and ecosystem health.

SEI has the capability to quickly bring state-of-the-art equipment, such as Sedflume and the Sediment Transport Monitoring System (STMS), and techniques to accurately and efficiently analyze contaminated sediment as well as other environmental issues. Sea Engineering's team has the capability to provide efficient and customized engineering and science solutions for clients' marine environmental problems in any aquatic environment including complex estuarine environments.
