Seaman Paper Company of Massachusetts, Inc. is a privately owned paper manufacturer operating two paper machines producing up to 100 tons per day of specialty light weight papers. The mill was purchased in November 1945 with one machine producing napkin and toweling paper. Since then, the mill has been continuously upgraded and improved to include:Over the years, the product line was also upgraded to more specialized and technically demanding grades such as one-time carbonizing tissue. In 1980, the mill diversified into lightweight groundwood, opaque free-sheet printing grades, and specialty lightweight wrapping tissues.In 1985, Seaman Paper Company decided to develop a "value-added" tissue line, thus, SatinWrap Premium Quality Wrapping Tissue was born. Over the past 13 years, many converting capabilities have been added to provide quality paper, quality printing, and quality products to the retail packaging industry:
