Dr. Rekow has extensive experience in cosmetic breast enhancement surgery and while she makes every attempt to make this procedure as safe as possible and provide you with the outcome you desire you should also know that she has extensive experience in treating complications associated with breast implants. Dr. Rekow encourages all women who have had a complication, â??undesireable outcomeâ?, or problem with their implants to attempt to resolve the â??problemâ? with their initial / primary surgeon. However when this is not possible Dr. Rekow is available to assist in treating these problems.

At your consultation we will discuss your desires and objectives thus gaining a better understanding of what you are seeking. We will then determine the best way to deal with your specific concerns. I will inform you of the various options and the associated risk factors. We will review realistic expectations in order to help you make the best informed decision. My goal is to obtain the best possible result for each of my patients (YOU!) with the least amount of risk. I and the rest of my team always strive to provide the highest quality medical care with the patientâ??s safety and best interests as our foremost concerns.

You will need to be seen the day following this operation and so the person caring for you (or another responsible adult) should be prepared to be with you for 24 hours post operatively and to return to the office with you the following day. You will likely have soft drains in place overnight which will usually be removed in the office the following day. A soft bra to assist in managing your dressings should be worn for your comfort (we provide you with two post operatively).
