Segue has extensive plastic molding capabilities. We use these in support of our assembly business to provide our customers with reduced new product introduction (NPI) lead times and to lower overall costs. Our engineering and manufacturing staff has over 75 years of combined experience in precision plastic insert and injection molding and has worked with a wide range of thermoplastic materials.

At Segue, we understand that the ability of a contract manufacturing partner to add value is based on deep experience. Experience in designing and building similar assemblies so we know where to find cost savings. Experience in developing a qualified supply chain network which provides cost effective, high quality components on a reliable, responsive basis. Experience in providing world class service and on-time delivery. We are disciplined in that we won't take on projects where we don't have the experience and know-how to make you successful.

In the U.S. we specialize in new product introduction and low-to-moderate volume, high-mix assemblies. At our facility in Xiamen, China , we provide low cost assembly combined with cost reductions from our certified global suppliers to deliver significant cost reductions for higher volume assemblies.

We provide Engineering, Sourcing, Sales and Customer Support services combined with low to moderate volume manufacturing from our US Headquarters in Lowell, MA. We also maintain a distribution center at this facility to provide local levels of safety stock in order to maintain high levels of on-time delivery for products manufactured in our Xiamen facility.

Segue operates a state-of-the-art precision CNC machine shop that has the capability of handling “first article” prototypes up to high volume production. Segue is committed to the most advanced machining technologies. This capability is augmented by a fully equipped conventional machine shop, used for short runs, prototyping and secondary operations. Our machining operation enhances our value to our customers and is primarily focused on machined parts used in our higher level assemblies. However, we do manufacture stand-alone machined parts for select customers.
