Select* Associates, founded in 1994, remains dedicated to providing innovative software solutions and responsive professional services to the law firm and professional services marketplace. With over 100 law firm customers, the company is proud of its ability to attract and serve the needs of its growing client base.

Jim’s experience in the legal industry began in 1983 at Truax, Inc. as the Senior Software Developer for The Legal Consortium, a time accounting/billing application for law firms. Jim then worked for TMC, provider of the LMS time and billing system, where he held various positions including Director of Research and Development, Director of Technology, and Senior Sales Engineer.

Jon Grube is a co-founder of Select* Associates, Inc. and the chief architect of its flagship products star *collect, *Bill, and star *time. He has considerable experience in the design, development, and implementation of database, time-and-billing, and practice support software for law firms and other professional organizations.
