Semtek provides a variety of solutions to private and public sector clients who need secure hardware and services to read and decode both Magnetic Stripe and Smart Card data (contact and contactless).Semtek provides hardware (as components, OEM, or complete systems) and services in the form of network-based gateways to support encryption and authentication solutions.Semtek's Hardware and OEM business is the market leader in enabling wireless devices to accept card data (e.g. credit cards and Identification cards). We provide card reader devices and interfaces that enable a wide variety of handheld devices and cell phones to effectively function as credit card and data collection terminals. Semtek also provides hardware into non-wireless devices including secure access applications, POS systems, and stand-alone terminals.
