We have readily available from our extensive library, a variety of short form catalogs, brochures, data books, technical design-in guides and a vast array of die geometries. NOVACAP grew by supplying difficult to produce Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor (MLC) products to the aerospace, military, medical, telecommunications, computer, and automotive markets. Located originally in Burbank CA, NOVACAP moved in 1988 to its current facility in Valencia, California. In 2000 NOVACAP acquired Syfer Technology Ltd., a UK manufacturer of specialty ceramic electronic components. Syfer is headquartered in Norwich, England and makes surface mount capacitors, EMI filters, and planar arrays. Together Novacap and Syfer provide a broad range of Specialty Multilayer Ceramic Components.

As an early adopter of space-saving Chip Scale Packaging (CSP), we are a licensee of the Ultra™ CSP technology from Flip Chip Technologies (FCT), the CSP technology leader. Moreover, we have invested in state-of-the-art ball drop and tape-and-reel machines, making us one of the most capable CSP producers in the world. CSP offers significant advantages to our customers, particularly those manufacturing PDAs, wireless handsets, and other portable consumer products faced with severe space constraints.
