Paul Sladkus worked at CBS and PBS for over 13 years. His background as Production/Studio Manager, Business Manager, Marketing Director and Producer helped to create Award winning TV Shows, including Carol Burnett, Network News and PBS's Nature and Brain Series to name a few. In 1985 Sladkus founded Milestone Broadcast Corporation (MBC) a multi-cultural and niche markets marketing/advertising/public relations organization.

SeniorNet is working with Que, which has 29 years of experience in providing practical advice on computers and technology, to create the right level of curriculum for the free Introduction to Windows 8 sessions. SeniorNet provides instructors, administrative staff, class registrations and certificates of completion for participating seniors.

Founded in 1986, SeniorNet grew out of a research project funded by the Markle Foundation to determine how computers and telecommunications could enhance the lives of older adults. Since that time, SeniorNet has grown into an independent, international, volunteer-based nonprofit organization that is one of the world’s leading technology educators of adults 50+.

IBM's relationship began with the founding of SeniorNet. Since then they have financially sponsored the opening of many centers. A significant number of IBM retirees have volunteer leadership positions at the centers - sharing their years of experience in business management, hardware and software. IBM awarded SeniorNet with a 3-year grant of more than $350,000 to create five SeniorNet Learning Centers on Indian Reservations around the country.

Ozra Hamidi is a highly experienced dental hygienist with over seventeen years of experience in the dental practice throughout Northern Virginia. Motivation and commitment to improving her skills has allowed her to pursue a second degree in Technical Management. She will use this degree to further develop her professional career. Today, Ozra is gaining invaluable experience as a SeniorNet HQ Volunteer.
