Setcom Completes Acquisition of Piratecom Setcom™ Corporation, the premiere manufacturer of intercom systems and headsets for public safety vehicles and high-noise industrial environments has acquired Piratecom, the foremost producer of communications systems for marine vessels. This acquisition is a significant step for Setcom and accelerates its growth in the specialty vehicle communications niches which include fire apparatus, police motorcycles, airport rescue firefighting trucks, and command vehicles.

After more than 35 years, Setcom will say "goodbye" to Mountain View, California.
