SEVCA Weatherization provides such services as state-of-the-art energy audits, insulation and air sealing, heating system improvements, and other energy-saving measures, all at no cost to residents who meet the income guidelines. A certified energy auditor visits the home to complete a thorough analysis of its energy efficiency and prescribe appropriate cost-effective measures. Then a team of our highly trained technicians is scheduled to make the needed improvements.

If you have a heating emergency in your home during the winter months, SEVCA may be able to help you receive the assistance you need to heat your home. Our dedicated staff works with State and Federal agencies, Vermont utility companies, and local funds to provide assistance to individuals and families in Windham and Windsor counties. Depending on your primary source of heat, the Outreach staff will help you understand how to complete the necessary application for help with the purchase of oil, kerosene, propane, or wood.
