Dear Sharon, I'm sorry it took me so long to get this to you. I tend to procastinate often and my laziness does not reflect how thankful I really am. This experience has changed me in so many ways for the better. Thank you for being so generous with your time, and for being so patient with us. I'm used to having practices that I dread, but dancing every week with you was so much fun. I looked forward to it every week. You're a wonderful teacher and an even better person. Dancing not only helped me, but it also helped build the relationship that Rosie and I now have. I was skeptical at first about learning how to dance, but now I wouldn't ever trade this experience for anything. I will miss coming in to see you. Thank you. -Adam Dear Sharon, Thank you so much for mentoring me these past few months. I thought that you should know how much I've appreciated our time together. I hear so often how unhappy many seniors are because of their loving projects and impersonal mentors that they have. When I hear this, I just have to smile. I can't help it because I feel so lucky that you were my mentor. Your patience and willingness to help along with your occasional jokes really made for a great time. I only hope that I have given you the same engagement that you have provided me. Once again, thank you so much, Sharon. Love, Rosie Tim and I met at a dance studio in Grand Rapids. Tim had been taking lessons at Sharon’s Dance studio in Kalamazoo, and I had been dancing for quite some time in Grand Rapids. Tim started showing up at the Saturday night dances where I was at. His great dancing caught my attention. I started to get to know him a little better, and we eventually became friends. Three long months later, he finally asked me out on Halloween. It was my most favorite Halloween ever. A year later we were engaged. Tim and I wanted to improve some of our dance steps for our wedding dance, so we began taking lessons together at Sharon’s. Sharon taught us some exciting new steps that helped us feel more confident as we danced in front of our guests six months later. Tim and I were married and are continuing to dance now at Sharon’s, and look forward to dancing together for the rest of our lives. Tim and Jodie
