Shelton & Associates is a sole proprietorship and fully insured including general liability and professional errors and omissions insurance. We are listed by Dun and Bradstreet.Our design staff is headed by Richard Silver. Richard is a licensed architect in California and has been with Shelton & Associates over ten years. His Tahoe design experience highlights over twenty years in the field. Richard's work includes hundreds of remodels, additions and custom home designs.Most engineering is done under the direct supervision of David Shelton. Dave has been working at Tahoe for over twenty years. He has been consulted by TRPA, appointed by the Placer County Building Department to their Board of Appeals where he currently serves as Chairman, and taught classes at the local college. Dave was the engineer consulted by Placer County, during the 1997 floods, to evaluate the damaged bridges on the Truckee River. Dave has thirty years of municipal and consulting engineering background and is a past President of the Tahoe Truckee Engineers Association.
