Shepard Schwartz & Harris was founded in 1935 by Irving W. Shepard, a well-known and successful real estate developer, entrepreneur, CPA, attorney and tax expert. Mr. Shepard helped to shape the Chicago skyline as we see it today, developing the 150 N. Wacker building as well as several shopping centers and apartment buildings throughout Chicago and the Midwest. He also owned interest in a homebuilding company and a screw manufacturing facility.
