Shepherd Communications has over 175 years’ combined experience in the telecommunications and utilities industry. Headquartered in Nicholasville, KY, it was founded in 1999 by Eric Shepherd as an installation services company, performing primarily residential CATV installation services. In 2005, Shepherd Communications ventured into the Outside Plant Construction part of the business as a principle turn-key provider in a “Fiber to the Schools” project in Fayette County, KY.
