Today the emergency department at Advocate Sherman Hospital treats over 40,000 people a year. And we've been the area resource hospital for the training of nearly 300 paramedics for over 25 years. This means we are responsible for emergency patients before they arrive at any area hospital through 24-hour communications that networks with paramedics and emergency transports.

Throughout your treatment our physicians will communicate with your primary care physician regarding the progress of your wound healing. Your primary care physician will continue to retain responsibility for your overall health care needs.

At Advocate Sherman Hospital, your satisfaction is important to us. Our goal is to both meet and exceed your expectations of us. Your nurse will be able to provide you with most of what you may need during your stay, but please let us know if there is something that we can do to help make your stay more comfortable.
