Our ranks include a former special agent for the Criminal Investigation Division of the IRS, a former analyst for Naval Signal Intelligence, as well as a number of attorneys, litigation paralegals, and ex-journalists. Dr. George Shipley, the firm’s founder, is a former Congressional fellow of the American Political Science Association, and he served as special assistant to Senator Lloyd Bentsen and national strategist for the 1988 presidential campaign of Vice President Al Gore. He was named one of “The Most Influential Texans” by Texas Monthly magazine and as “Leading Consultant” by The Quorum Report, the state’s oldest political newsletter. Born in Houston, George received his B.A. from the University of Virginia, attended graduate studies at Harvard University, and earned his doctorate at The University of Texas at Austin.
