Custom Sawing began in 1997 with a Woodmizer band saw mill and a dehumidification dry kiln. We quickly became an on line supplier of thin hardwoods for craftspeople who required high quality materials with very specific characteristics. We developed our line of box call kits in response to the requests of turkey hunters and turkey call builders who were in need of the high grade hardwoods we provide. We now have an entire line of wood products, and supplies for turkey call builders.As our name “Custom Sawing ” implies, we have the equipment and know-how to meet your exacting needs for almost any size or species of wood. In many cases we can provide wood from even a specific portion of the tree. We do our own logging, sawing, drying and surfacing. This allows us to provide quality wood and wood products at a competitive price. Most of our raw materials “trees ” are recovered from development projects. This further increases our ability to be competitive, utilizes a natural resource that would otherwise end up in a brush pile, landfill or fireplace, and preserves our wild turkey habitat.
