Shoemaker Welding & Machine Shop, Inc. is pleased to feature contract manufacturing and prototype precision sheet metal and light structural metal fabrication services. Working with material thickness from 20 gauge up to ½" plate, we specialize in decorative and ornamental structural pieces but can accommodate a variety of other intended applications, such as subsystem enclosures, POP display fixtures, and aircraft assemblies and components.
Known for providing top-notch metal fabrication services, Shoemaker Welding & Machine Shop, Inc. was contracted by a client from the construction industry to manufacture the trash rack, shown above, used within a construction site application. We combined several of our advanced services, including plasma cutting, bending, drilling, and MIG welding, to machine this component from 304 stainless steel. Our custom metal fabrication machinery met tight tolerances down to ± 1/16". The finished part measured 30" x 30", with a 3" space placed between each window.
Bill Reeve is the Operations Manager and has been with the company for over 18 years. Tom Rich, our nephew, has been with the business since 1998 and is the Manufacturing Coordinator. We are pleased to have our son Brant, who graduated in 2009 from Penn College of Technology with a Manufacturing Engineering degree join the business. There are now over 20 employees who work for Shoemaker Welding and Machine Shop, Inc.

Using our advanced metal fabrication operations, Shoemaker Welding & Machine Shop, Inc. engineers built this 38' ft stainless steel bar top, pictured above, for a restaurant located in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. By combining several of our advanced services, including shearing, notching, forming, and TIG welding, we were able to construct this part. Our sheet metal fabrication services fulfilled customer specifications and met tolerances down to ± .015".
