The roots of Siegert-Lees Insurance go back to 1921. Albert W. Frankenfeld began Frankenfeld Insurance Agency that year. He and his wife Clara ran the agency for 31 years. Herbert F. Siegert purchased the agency in 1952. Herb operated the agency for 31 years also. His staff included his brother, Wayne Siegert, Velma Challans, Angie Koontz, and in 1975 Richard Lees, Herb's son-in-law joined the agency. Herb sold the business to Richard in 1983.
