Sign Designs is a full service electric sign company located in Modesto, California. We design, manufacture, install and service custom electric signs and awnings throughout California and Nevada. Our signs are manufactured to UL standards assuring you of a high-quality product. Our installations comply with the National Electrical Code and our original designs respect and reflect community codes and criteria. We keep you up to date on your project status from the preliminary design through installation. We do everything to free you so you can attend to your business at hand.

Sign Designs was established in 1971 by Allen Johnston and Douglas Smith. We have been committed to excellence since opening our operation and have been under the same ownership during that time. Sign Designs' entire staff is ready to assist you with all your signage needs. We will be there when you need us, ready to offer the level of service you demand. We install and service a full line of custom signs for our customers throughout California and Nevada. Outside of California we contract with a national network of sign and awning professionals for installation and maintenance.
