Saturday, October 16th The Mabuhay Alliance brings its annual conference to San Francisco in 2010! Named "Shaping Tomorrow Today," the conference will have educational and informational programs that will help business owners and home owners alike, as well as a formal dinner gala honoring those who have helped the Mabuhay Alliance make strides for the minority communities. Silk Road will be in San Francisco to direct this event. Workshops include "The Future of Homeownership and the New Consumer Financial Protection Bureau," "Minorities Leading Broadband Revolution," and "Supplier Diversity: Incrasing Contract for Women of Color and Disabled Veterans." The panel discussions will be lead by experts, corporate executives and community leaders. The conference will conclude with a dinner gala with keynote speakers Michael Peevey, the president of the California Public Utilities Commission and Carol Wilner, VP of the Federal and National Third Party Affairs at AT&T. Featured entertainment at the dinner gala will be multi-award winning and Philippine Broadway star, Ray An Fuentes!
