Mercedeh Oliver is the founder of Silver Lining Supportive Services. She has started two other programs in San Mateo County, Ca. Support Station, Inc, a Case Management Service, in 1993, and, Senior Support, for seniors suffering from mental illness, in 2010. Mercedeh began her career in mental health in 1986 in Baltimore County for a non profit, community based outpatient program serving individuals with mental illnesses such as; Schizophrenia, Bipolar, PTSD, Dementia, OCD, Eating Disorders. She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Fine Arts from Towson University.

Silver Lining Supportive Services co-founder, Laura Guluzzy has a passion of caring for the welfare of seniors. It began with her own experience of becoming the caregiver for her grandmother who had dementia. Laura obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Human Services, with Counseling and Administration Concentrations, and a minor in Psychology, from Notre Dame De Namur University. She has been an active community volunteer and has served in many organizations, including The Institute on Aging (IOA).

We provide the highest level of confidentiality, anonymity, privacy and affordability for our clients. $2 per minute is charged once connected to one of our professionals.

Coaching families to problem solve issues of housing, assessing levels of care, retirement homes vs home care services; choosing caregivers and care managers, agencies providing in home care services, legal, financial, and transportation. Many recommendations follow the World Health Organization “Aging-Friendly” guidelines.
