SimTek Fence

Description

In 2004, MFS was a division of a larger publicly traded company specializing in plastics manufacturing. As a division, MFS built a new factory and equipped it with state-of-the-art rotational molding equipment with the goal to develop a new method of forming an existing product line. This project, unfortunately, had some challenges and was eventually abandoned. This decision left an empty factory and millions of dollars worth of idle equipment. The parent company created a small taskforce with a primary goal of developing new product concepts in order to put the factory and equipment to use.

About SimTek: SimTek Fence was founded in 2007 and has reinvented fence manufacturing with its patented design of rotationally-molded fencing allowing realistic stone appearance and superior performance. Since its inception, SimTek has strived to create leading edge manufacturing technologies, sustainable and environmental friendly fencing products, which aid in the conservation of natural resources through incorporating green practices into the building industry.

We are very excited to become involved with the SimTek product. We feel this will bring new opportunities for both our company as well as our network of distributors in the Southeast United States. We have already seen a large interest in the product and together I am sure SimTek and our company will see expansive opportunities in these economic times with this new and exciting product Bob Burton, President, CEO.

SimTek is headquartered in Orem, Utah where general offices and manufacturing facilities are located. Research began in 2002 with several technological breakthroughs leading to the design, manufacture and market introduction in 2005 of SimTek Decorative Rock Walls.
