Simi Valley Hospital was founded in 1965 by a group of dedicated community members who had a vision to build a hospital in the towns of Santa Susana and Simi. Today, all of us at Simi Valley Hospital share that same vision of progress and growth as well as a passion to provide excellent care and service.

Volunteers can choose from among a variety of times and days of the week to provide service to the hospital. The Department of Volunteer Services will work with you to determine what is best for your schedule.

Since its beginning in 2001, the Foundation has supported Simi Valley Hospital’s commitment to provide exceptional service and quality care that meets the health care needs of the communities we serve. For that purpose, the Foundation acquires charitable gifts for the hospital and acknowledges the individuals and groups that contribute to our efforts.

In 2005, the Department of Volunteer Services contributed 23,000 hours of service, supporting essential hospital activities and providing other important community services, such as the Lifeline Program .

We have jobs for many types of careers. In addition to clinical positions, we provide careers in business management, finance, engineering, nutrition, marketing, education, information technology, electronics ? and much more.
