SIMPSON ENGINEERS & ASSOCIATES ABOUT US Engineering Excellence and Service Simpson Engineers & Associates, PC (SEA) is a minority business enterprise offering civil engineering services related to design of transportation structures and to inspection of roadway construction for both public and private entities. Established in January, 2004, and located in Cary, North Carolina, our firm is committed to producing quality work in a timely manner and to maintaining long term client relationships. As former employees of the North Carolina Department of Transportation, our staff is knowledgeable of departmental policies and procedures. This association allows SEA to be an unlimited resource in the engineering community. Also, the 100+ years of combined staff experience makes SEA competitive in the transportation field. Of our eight staff members, five work in the Cary office designing transportation structures, while three work in the field performing roadway construction inspections. Registration and Certification Simpson Engineers & Associates, PC, is a properly registered corporation with the North Carolina Secretary of State and with the North Carolina Board of Registration for Engineers and Land Surveyors. SEA is on the Register of Qualified Firms for the North Carolina Department of Transportation, and our private engineering firm questionnaire is on file with the NCDOT. Simpson Engineers & Associates, PC, has been approved as a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise with the Departments of Transportation for the following states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Florida. Simpson Engineers & Associates, PC, is also SBA 8(a) certified to perform civil engineering services for Federal projects.
