Description

Marlon has been involved in the field of Architecture and Construction for over 10 years. He has an associate degree in Building Technology and in May of 2014 he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Technology. Marlon provides CAD support from his remote home office.

At Sims Architects we have a superb team of professionals that provide a high level of expertise in the field of architecture. From preliminary design through construction administration services, we handle all phases of the project. As the profession has changed over the years so has our approach to architecture. We provide CAD services, computerized renderings, building animations and other services needed to accurately convey design ideas that could not be done in the days of hand drafting.

It started with a lunch and a napkin sketch. Missionaries were on furlough from Cambodia when they met with Joel Sims, AIA. The training center would provide a place for people to come and grow in their knowlege and understanding of the Bible. However, there was a need to create fund raising materials so that the project could be understood by potential donors. The facilty needed a large meeting room, classrooms and a housing area for visitors. This project was done as an Agape Architecture project, providing discount design services to non-profit Christian Organizations.
