SIRIUS K9 ACADEMY is centrally located in Orange County in Yorba Linda, California. Sirius K9 is owned and operated by Caroline Haldeman. She has been training dogs professionally for over 24 years. Her many years of experience in training dogs for advanced obedience, competition, personal protection, police, detection, and search work motivated her to open Sirius K9 Academy so that she could offer the public more then the standard low-quality, over-priced, and generally unreliable training offered elsewhere. We offer a large and unique variety of classes (puppy, basic, intermediate, and advanced obedience), clicker, protection, detection, and therapy dog training, private lessons (at your home or at our location), seminars, and many certifications. We also offer one-of-kind low-stress boarding and in-kennel training for our clients. (The dogs we board stay at our trainer's homes!) We have several private outdoor training locations, so you can train your dog safely night or day! Whether your dog is big or small, young or old, let us help your dog reach its potential and make them a pleasure to own. Our goal is to help every dog become NEUTRAL to the environment (including to other dogs and people) and improve and broaden every handler's skills and knowledge so that they can become a confident, savvy, and responsible dog owner. We specialize in German & Czech Shepherds and other strong working breeds, such as Rottweilers, Dobermans, Malinois, and Dutch Shepherds. Our specialties also include herding, hunting, bully, and many rare breeds, as well as as timidness, fearfulness, dominance, and aggressive behavior.
We provide private one-on-one training all over Southern California or at our location in Yorba Linda. The location is completely up to you! We also provide in-kennel training and boarding at our trainer's homes!.
