Terminal Renovation Since SkySouth FBO opened in Fall 2008, we have renovated the terminal with a new lobby and customer service area, new pilot lounge and flight planning area, and a new kitchen and vending area. See Amenities page. Runway Extension The runway is being extended northeast to 6,400 feet. A final extension to 7,000 feet is planned. A stream has been bridged, and dirt is being moved. The new 6,400 foot runway will be operational in late 2010. New Corporate Hangar We are proud to have a new 120 x 120 foot hangar with 80 x 22 foot hydraulic door. Large enough to accomodate all but the very largest business jets, there are several positions still available for lease. Call us at (336) 226-3330 for more information. Honda Aero Honda Aero has built a jet engine factory adjacent the extended runway. The HF120 engine powers the Honda Jet. The Honda Jet factory Customer Service Center will also be built here.
