Thank you for your interest and welcome to Slippery Falls Scout Ranch. We are pleased to announce the addition of several new camp facilities and programs at Slippery Falls. It is the focus of the Last Frontier Council to proudly present the finest camp property, program and staff available for your summer camp this year. Through a progressive capitol campaign we are in the process of building the best summer camp experience ever. For 2009, the new facilities were a Western Heritage Center that includes a new ranch house, bunk house and welcome center. We will provide a quality western experience for scouts involved in the horsemanship, leather work and outdoor cooking merit badges. In 2008 we reactivated the horsemanship program at Slippery Falls with great success. We will continue this year with new and exciting activities throughout camp. It is our intent to provide a quality historical western experience for the youth attending Slippery Falls. Some upcoming construction projects will include a new Authentic Native America Village, Ecology and Conservation Center, Energy Center and a state of the art Aquatics program area. Also on schedule are projects to upgrade our Trading Post and Dinning Hall. If your unit has not attended Slippery Falls in a few years I encourage your consideration to revisit our camp. I will assure you the best summer camp experience ever and a quality program that the Scouts will never forget. We look forward to seeing you at Slippery Falls Scout Ranch this summer.
