Description
To provide the highest quality automotive services through thoughtful and farsighted maintenance; through complete and open communication with our customers; and the highest levels of workmanship that leading edge technology and excellent technicians can produce. We do so in a professional comfortable, and congenial environment.
As we begin our fourth decade in Boulder, our goal and mission remains unchanged: to provide the highest quality automotive services through thoughtful and farsighted maintenance; clear, complete and open communication with our customers; and the highest levels of workmanship that leading edge technology and excellent people can produce — all in a civilized, comfortable, and congenial environment.
We typically recommend more frequent service intervals than those recommended by manufacturers, particularly with regard to fluid changes. We also recommend less frequent service intervals some cases. Many of our recommendations are made after considering your individual needs and driving habits. We test drive your vehicle at least five miles during every service visit. We will occasionally request to keep your vehicle for a time following completion of repairs to thoroughly check our work and perform a more extensive test drive.
Lead Technician, 1995 to present. Colorado native. I grew up in Boulder and have spent most of my life in Colorado on the Front Range with seven years in the mountains. I enjoy Colorado's outdoor activities — climbing and telemark skiing. I have been at Slipstream since 1995 and have been repairing cars for over 30 years. I am Slipstream's token non-Audi boy! I am an avid motorsports enthusiast and am a Sports Car Club of America member and racer.
Many dealers give you the impression the dealer must perform the maintenance necessary to keep the manufacturer’s warranty in force. This is not true and never has been! Maintenance can be performed anywherr, even by the owner at home! As long as recommended services and service intervals are performed and recorded, the manufacturer’s warrany will remain in effect. In addition, should we notice a problem with your vehicle that is covered by warranty during a service visit, we will supervise and facilitate the repair with the dealer on your behalf. Don’t let the fox guard the henhouse!
