Howard F. Poovey an entrepreneur in the grocery business started Slumber Waterbed Company in 1980 which now operates as SlumberTime Mattress Plus Kids. His vision of providing a well made product at a great price for the consumer is still well and alive today. SlumberTime Waterbeds has transitioned throughout the years to become a distributor of fine furniture, awarded retailer and provides one of the largest mattress galleries in our area. We are also one of North Carolina's largest Kids Dealers. Our goal is and always has been to provide our customers with the best value in the industry.

Our team thrives in providing satisfactory results to each and every one of our customers. That's why we work hard to provide you with the best mattress to match your individual needs and wants. We've got loads of different brands and types of mattresses to choose from. On top of that, we always make sure to offer the best mattress deals around. We combine quality with affordability in everything that we offer.

The majority of our product is available for shipping immediately and is located in warehouses in North Carolina and Virgina. If you are picking up at our Store Location or getting delivered locally 90 percent of our product is available in a week to 10 days. When shipping outside of our local area it depends on your location and is generally between 2 and 6 weeks.
