Description

Lastly, use the information you have gained to make your business better—for you, for your customers and for your employees. Focus in on one or two things that you think will have the greatest impact and implement your new ideas. Make sure that you take the time to identify some tangible way to measure the effectiveness of this change. Monitor how the new idea works and modify your process as necessary to achieve your objectives. When the economy begins to rejuvenate you will know more about your business and be in a better position to take advantage of the new growth.

Small Business Concerns began business in 1981 in order to provide technical assistance to Not-For-Profit organizations and to private businesses doing business in the public sector. Over the years since that time, the business has broadened to include training and accounting services to individuals, small businesses, and associations.

SBC will work with you to provide the kind of service your business or personal circumstances require. Not every business is the same and not every business owner has the same resources. We will work with you to develop a system that works best for you. If we see things that would reduce your bookkeeping costs, we will work with you to make that happen.

Mary Hinkley is the owner of Small Business Concerns. Prior to starting SBC, Mary was the Program Coordinator for Behavior Analysis Research Associates, Inc. and the Leon Association for Retarded Citizens, Inc. It was her responsibility to write and administer grants for the agency and oversee the financial operations in conjunction with the Executive Director. Mary held this position for five years. She holds a Masters Degree in Education and while working on graduate work completed the course work for a minor in business administration.
