Licensed water operators are needed and required in order to ensure that a PWS's water supply is safe to drink, ample enough to provide the water that is needed and that it meets all Massachusetts Rules and Regulations for drinking water systems (see 310 CMR 22.00), as well as Federal Safe Drinking Water Act Guidelines. SWSS has been providing this service since August 1995 with the most enhanced level of operator service in the contracting industry.

SWSS has been serving the water and wastewater industries since 1995 and currently operates over 100 systems throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. SWSS is fully licensed and insured and our staff works directly with DEP to remain current with the regulatory complexities of drinking water and wastewater utilities. SWSS staff works to ensure that all our systems remain in compliance with all applicable state, federal and local regulations and guidelines. Located in central Massachusetts, SWSS operators are always available whenever a question, problem or emergency arises.
