Description
SmarTrunk Systems, Incorporated, was founded in 1979 as Selectone Corporation, a privately held California corporation. Since its inception, the company was a leading manufacturer of tone signaling and voice encryption equipment for the mobile communications industry. The company's original Selectone products are found in virtually every type of business, industrial, and public safety communication system throughout the world. In 1992, the company introduced the original SmarTrunk system as a low cost trunking protocol for radiotelephone systems in developing countries.
